Dolphin

Pencarrow lighthouse (lwr), Wellington, NZ: Caught this one in a hundred shot of a dolphin “piloting” the Interislander ferry Kaitaki through the mouth of Wellington Harbour. I think it’s a Dusky Dolphin. Of the dozen or so shots I took, only one worked out… the first! Canon EOS 30D/Canon EF 70-200 f4 L

Sphinx of Zardar

Zardar, Croatia, 2002. Spotted this sphinx in the front yard of a neglected mansion.
