Aleppo, Syria, 2005: It took a while to figure out the right mini-bus to take to Tartus on the coast- with a little help from a local. I’d just spent a few days in Aleppo, the largest city in Syria (and the Levant )and one of the oldest inhabitated cities in the world. Aleppo was almost like being on another planet after Turkey, time seem to have not changed that much in it’s 4,000 year history. Canon EOS 1n/Sigma 17-35
