So today I finally got around to going to Pick-A-Part, half way up the Hutt valley at Wingate.
$2 gains you access- your provided with a high-viz jacket, you bring the tools.
The place is way larger than I imagined. Hundreds upon hundreds of wrecked vehicles lined up in rows.
There were a surprising amount of other people there hacking away at the wrecks.
It took me quite a while to find what I was looking for, but only a few minutes to dismantle. $7 for a windscreen wiper arm- not bad…
