New Plymouth, Taranaki, New Zealand, Dec 26 2011: Barrett St Hospital, particularly the former Nurse’s home has a very distinctive look. I’ve never seen a building like it. My mother lived here for a couple of years early in her nursing career. The new hospital (now Taranaki Base) was/is still nearby… Barrett St is now owned by local Iwi and rented out for a variety of activities… Canon EOS 30D/18-55is
