Wellington, New Zealand, 2009: Experimenting with wireless flash, umbrella, torch & long exposures in “the alley”. Simon Burrow came up with the idea and asked me to tag along… It was a two person job- someone to trigger the camera’s, someone to pop the flash, someone to paint the walls with a torch, and both of us to keep an eye on our gear… If you like these images, check out Simon’s extensive library of the alley. Holy shit man! I love it. The concept, the execution and the finished product.
Number 4’s my favourite, with number 1 being a close 2nd, so simelar, but number 1 feels more aggresive (not quite the right word, but the closest i can think of to describe it).
Props my ma’an
Cheers, it was all Simon’s idea really- I was just there as a prop, model and security… 😉
Love your photographs especially the second and fifth one, good work.
